ARTS ENCOUNTERS
Session A: June 22-July 2 (Two weeks)
(No camp on Friday, July 3)
"Arts Encounters" offers a two-week Academy designed to immerse students in the world of art, creative writing, technology and drama. Students will explore various themes such as humor, power, self, and play. At the conclusion, students create their own exhibit, performance, or published piece based on these activities. Innovative projects throughout the session will give students a chance to develop critical thinking skills, problem solving and team building strategies.

MATH AND SCIENCE - STRUCTURES
Session B: July 6-17
In Math and Science - Structures, students will explore the science, math and art behind "structures" through hands-on experiments, design activities, and on-campus fieldtrip opportunities. Projects will be completed by each student or teams of students over the course of the session culminating in an open house for family, friends and other students.

WHAT'S HAPPENING? A CLOSE UP LOOK AT GLOBAL WARMING, TRANSPORATION, SUSTAINABILITY AND URBANIZATION
Session C: July 20-31
This session will focus on some of the critical issues facing our region and world. Students will gain a greater appreciation of how our lives, our community, and our world neighbors are linked and will developed a better understanding of these connections. Students will explore solution-building and come up with action steps that they can try in their own families, neighborhoods and schools.
